Chosing your sissy name is a big step and requires a lot of consideration and there are a lot of ways to go about it. Many new sissies simply choose the feminine version of their name. I have mixed feelings about this approach. I like it because it reflects the same lack of choice that comes with the original Christening. I dislike it because it requires no deeper thought or creativity.

A lot of sissies ask to be named by their Mistress (Me), which is a wonderful fantasy, but know that asking your Mistress to name you is relinquishing any say in the final decision and that she may not even ask you for input. (I usually do ask for input.) When naming sissies, I tend to like diminuitive versions of old fashioned names and hyphenated "firsty firsties" like Lucy-Marie. I'm also a fan of sissy surnames, like Bow or Pink or Pansy. However, those tendencies can be over-ridden by a specific sissy's appearance or demenor. For example, my hubby sometimes likes to play the femme role and asked once what I thought his name should be. Without hesitation I answered "Veronica." With his (sometimes her) thick lashes, dark curls, long legs, dramatic coloring, and seductive demeanor, the name just seemed fitting. He wanted something much cuter, "Jenny," a name which has always made me gag. We compromised on"Vickie," but I still think that "Veronica" is much more suitable. Remember that a Mistress is not a mind-reader and if there's a name you feel is perfect, it may be in your best interest to mention it to Her.

So if you haven't chosena sissy name, give it some thought. Don't just choose a name you think is cute: that will change and a good sissy will pick a name with staying power. Try to think of one that reflects your personality and will make you feel special. Even if you decide to have your Mistress name you or go with the feminine version of your name, it's a good exercise for getting in touch with your sissy side.

Is there nothing lovelier than wearing something sexy and lacy as well as something padded and wet? Lingerie is exclusively feminine, and I feel like a princess in corsets, garter belts and stockings, with a lacy pair of panties over my thickly diapered bottom. I have a bit of a wardrobe at the moment, I love pink and white with lots of laces, but black lingerie goes great against a stark white bambino. I've worn lingerie before becoming a sissy, it was one of the first things that I loved about being a girl. I always felt a little worried that someone would see me, all dressed up in something as elaborate as it is girly and special, but I also wanted to be those things. Yesterday I was watching a 2008 movie, Pageant. It's a documentary about the 34th Miss Gay America Pageant. Now, most of the sissies and crossdressers I see are, of course, not gay. If they were, they'd be seeking out a male dominant to help fulfill their fantasies. And, of course, in a normal session I don't go into all the over-the-top feminization techniques that are exercised by the female impersonators who are the subject of this film. (At one point one of the contestants, Pork Chop, even says that she had a real woman do her make-up once and never will again, but I'm of the opinion that the girl probably just didn't know what she was doing and tried to make Pork Chop look like a pretty man rather than a glamorous goddess.)

But I felt it was relevant for one reason. Almost every little sissy who comes to see me says the same thing: "I'm not as pretty as the sissies I see online and in magazines." Really? Watch this movie and you'll see what these gorgeous gals look like before their transformations. The second runner up, Coti Collins, was particularly manish before her transformation.

Sissies, it is important to remember that feminization is a skill that even real women must learn. Yes, you are at a disadvantage because you have not been taught the art of being feminine from infancy (girls even learn to BREATHE differently), but, if you are dedicated and especially if you have the aid of a skilled Mistress, you can master the necessary skills. 

You're going to need to get some supplies for this assignment.

1. Go to the fabric store and pick out some pretty lace. You'll probably need to take it to the cutting table and have them cut a section of it for you. Make sure that it has a good edge for sewing and that you get enough to go around each ankle.

2. While you're at the fabric store, you should also pick up some tiny, little bows or flowers for accents, some thread, some straight pins, and a needle. You don't really need a thimble, but if it makes you feel more sissified, go ahead!

3. Buy some basic, white socks. They can be cotton, but they should be one, solid color. No exceptions!

4. Go home and put on your socks, making sure they're nice and straight. Fold the top down over your ankle and pinthe lace into place. Don't pull it too tight! Just let it rest naturally. Then make a little mark with a pen or market where the bow or flower accent should go.

5. Draw your sock off so that it's inside out. This will make it easier for you to sew on the lace without sewing the sock to itself.

6. Sew the lace to the sock using a backstitch. Be sure to stretch the elastic out enough that you distribute the lace evenly!

7. Sew on the accent securely.

A pretty, sparkly, pink pussy? Hello Kitty! Your new assignment is to shop at a Sanrio store, not just online. I just know you'll love being surrounded by all the pretty, pink frills and sweet graphics. You can buy anything, but you must buy something! Maybe just a cell phone strap or maybe a purse--whatever it is, you have to use it at least once. And no saying it's for your daughter, niece, wife, girlfriend, best friend's sister's mom--whatever. Just buy it and ask for a stamp card to keep in your wallet, although if you just get something little, your purchase may not be fore enough. I still want you to ask!

I always prefer to play in my San Francisco nursery, but last weekend it was all booked up for a private function, so I decided to get a little hotel room instead. I was really exciited because I thought I would finally get to have my rocking horse, Horatio, out again. But the room was too small. It was my fault for cheaping out. I went into it with a spending limit in mind. Next time I'll pick based on size and whether or not there's a tub. (Seriously, what's up wtih all the hotel rooms that don't have tubs these days?) Another assignment for you: design your own pair of sissy panties! This is a great way to get a personalized pair of punishment panties in your signature color and cut, trimmed with lace and bows! Remember that punishment panties need to show off your bum, so they should be a thong. Or maybe just a sweet pair of bikini briefs to mince around the dungeon in! Many little sissies out there hope to some day find a Mistress of their own. I know enough of you contact me regularly to see if I have room in my boudoir for another little slssy-in-training! However, I'm often appalled at the applications that I receive. So why did Riley stick out? What made her the one sissy for me? I'm going to share that information with you, but keep in mind that this is why I chose Riley. Keep in mind that each Mistress is different and will find various things attractive.

Things in common: Riley and I share several interests outside of sissification. We can carry on a conversation about things other than panties, diapers, and humiliation. There are times when I want to connect to her on a more egalitarian level. Perhaps I want her honest opinion about a new dress that I've bought. Since we have the same taste, I'll know that her opinion is one I can take to heart. Also, when we're out and about I don't get bored. She always has something interesting to say and I consider her a friend as well as my sissy slave.

A pretty face: What can I say? I like a pretty face! Now it's my opinion that most sissies who think that they don't or can't have a face as cute as the sissies they see online and in magazines just need a little help with make-up, but Riley already has a naturally very cute face. She also has long, dirty blond hair that I love to tug on. I feel that physical attraction is very important in any relationship--and not just the sissy's attraction to the Mistress! A sissy must work hard to make sure that she is pleasant to look at, even when she is dressed in her regular male garb, though of course Riley is dressed as a girl very nearly 100% of the time.

A good understanding of the female mind: As a real transgender, Riley is not your usual sissy. Most sissies realize that they do not exactly think like men, but they also fail to think like women. Riley thinks like a girl, which means I and others naturally treat her like a girl. Because she has a feminine mind, she moves like a girl, talks like a girl, and gives off a feminine vibe. However, being a sissy isn't about being a real woman. It's about becoming an ultra-feminine fairy, so Riley is still in need of training.

Obedient, yet thoughtful: I met Riley through her blog, Protection Blog, which she has run capably for a long time now.  While the idea of a completely helpless sissy is appealing in some ways, a sissy needs to be able to do certain things on her own, even if she's not a sissy maid. For example, Riley can edit and upload videos, write, promote, and do other things that help with the running and maintenance of this site. If she was not able to do those things, I would have to do them, which would mean less time spent actually playing. I'm a very busy woman and definitely am attracted to sissies who can take care of themselves when they need to.

Finding a Mistress is about more than just locating a sissifier who you find attractive. She should be compatible with you in other ways as well, even if you are married or seeking a professional Mistress only. Next week 

I found a fun, new way to humiliate my little sissies, though of course this could work with anyone. In order to complete the task you will need at least a pair of pasties with tassels and some spirit glue to attach them. It's also a good idea to have a full-length mirror, some lipstick, a pair of heels, and a g-string.

Strip down and, standing in front of the mirror, slip into your cute, little panties. Point your toes and arch your legs to make yourself look as sexy as possible and make sure your sissy stick is all tucked up in your little panties. Then slip into your heels. Take a moment to look at yourself. Do you look like a sexy sissy or a guy in panties? Arch your back and put your hands on your hips. Smile! Now you can put on your pasties.
